  • ♟️💐 Celebrate Women’s Day With Us – Learn Chess for Free! 💐♟️

This Women’s Day, we are opening our doors to something special.

We’re inviting women and mothers to come and learn chess in a relaxed, welcoming environment completely free of charge.

🗓 Saturday 7 March
🕐 1:00 – 5:00 PM
📍 Pancras Square Library, London

So often, mothers patiently wait while their children play. This time, it’s your turn.

Chess strengthens memory, sharpens strategic thinking, builds confidence and most importantly, brings people together. ♟✨

No experience needed. No pressure. Just a supportive space to learn, play, and celebrate women supporting women.

Bring a friend, bring your daughter, or simply bring yourself.
You belong at the board. 💜 @judit.polgar.official

  • ✨ A special chess moment & an exciting beginning ✨

On Friday night 6th Feb 2026, at the SpeechChess event organised by @fourcornerclub, we had the pleasure of meeting some truly inspiring people from the global chess community.

It was a real privilege to connect with Judit @sztarayjudit and Danny @dannyrensch from @wwwchesscom, and the wonderfully warm Anna @annacramling.

The encouragement, openness, and genuine support for women-led chess initiatives meant a great deal. We are incredibly grateful to Chess.com for their support — this truly feels like the beginning of an exciting new collaboration ♟️✨

Thank you for the inspiration and belief. More to come.#chessandbridge #womeninchessfoundation #ecf
  • ♟️ A Historic Day for Women in Chess ♟️

We’re still glowing from the success of our latest FIDE Women’s Rapid Tournament, a day filled with powerful moves, inspiring performances, and unforgettable moments.

✨ The highlight? We were honoured to welcome WGM Sheila Jackson and several WFM-level players to join and support our community event. Having such legendary figures alongside new players, juniors, and improvers created something truly special, a space where everyone felt seen, challenged, and celebrated.

We proudly ran two competitive sections: Open and U1700, blending confidence, growth, and grit across every board. From first-time participants to rising juniors now rated 1400+, every game told a story of progress.

Huge thanks to @lifeafterhummus , Pancras Square Library, and @camden.council for believing in us and providing such an incredible venue.

We’re not just playing chess — we’re changing the landscape. ♟💜

  • Our team hit the road to Dudley today!

We started Round 1 with four amazing women, and now we’ve grown into a stronger squad of six women and two men, all playing together across three teams, proudly in collaboration with Coventry 💙🤍

This in itself feels like a real success. Building teams, building confidence, and building something bigger than just one match.

Today’s games were tough and demanding, but that’s chess and that’s how we grow. Tomorrow is a new day, new energy, and new chances. 🌱✨

Onwards and upwards ♟️💪

  • Our Christmas Lunch Party brought together women, girls, children, parents, and players of all ages and backgrounds, exactly what a modern chess club should look like: balanced, inclusive, joyful.

From the delicious lunch to the festive simul, from the laughter to the learning, the day was filled with warmth and connection.

✨ A special thank you to the incredible women who volunteered behind the scenes, your energy, generosity, and care truly made this event what it was. Without you, none of this would have been possible.

This is what we believe in. This is the future of chess.
Community. Confidence. Equality. Joy.
